Hello there!

I'm Yiğit, a Senior Android Developer at Trendyol based in Turkey. I've been manipulating pixels on Android devices for over 6 years now.

At Trendyol, I work on the Product Detail Page domain—one of the most visited screens in the app. I've led UI layer migrations, contributed to our internal BFF framework, and created Transmission, a library for building testable async communication networks that's now used across the Product Detail Page domain.

Before Trendyol, I spent 2.5 years at Commencis where I grew from Software Engineer to Senior, leading the Pegasus Android client and improving architecture patterns across teams.

Beyond work

I build tools that solve my own problems. Lazydraft handles my writing workflow from Obsidian to this website. Interop manages project-specific commands in my terminal. Building these in Rust and Go has been a fun way to learn new languages.

I write to slow down my thinking and make sense of what I learn. This website is where I document that process—technical deep dives, notes on productivity, and occasional reflections on habits.
