I’m Yiğit, a senior software engineer based in Turkey. I work on Android, software architecture, and developer experience.
Work
I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Trendyol, where I work on the Product Detail Page domain—one of the most visited areas of the app. I’ve been building Android products for over six years.
I’ve led UI-layer migrations, contributed to our internal BFF framework, and created Transmission, a library for testable asynchronous communication networks now used across the domain.
Before Trendyol, I spent two and a half years at Commencis, growing from Software Engineer to Senior while leading the Pegasus Android client and improving architecture patterns across teams.
Beyond work
I build tools that solve my own problems. Lazydraft handles my writing workflow from Obsidian to this website. Interop manages project-specific commands in my terminal. Building these in Rust and Go has been a practical way to learn new languages.
I write to slow down my thinking and make sense of what I learn. This site is where I document that process: technical deep dives, notes on productivity, and occasional reflections on habits.
